Weber’s NVD process offers unparalleled advantages for IMG/L Negative Vacuum Forming Process Tooling:

    • 5-axis laser drilled, 0.18mm diameter vacuum holes are designed to CAD data and positioned accurately and repeatably. Multiple identical cavities allow optimized and repeatable molding.
• Superior strength from a solid, uniform 3.5-4mm shell.
• Solid, undistorted nickel shells allow accurate machining of features for modular style mounting to the vacuum box with O-ring groove sealing ensuring a leak free connection.
• Weber’s IMG process shells can be easily and quickly removed and re-mounted onto the vacuum box assembly.
• Superior grain replication, with the fastest delivery timing, and a NVD Ni shell that will last the life of the program.
